Music Venues & Clubs Klinker - In one's face avant-guard music club who meet, among other places, at the Ivy House. Moonbow Jakes - Brockley based purveyors of beers, veggie pastry products and has live music Thursdays & Sundays until pub closing time. Rocklands - Minxy's passion for all that is musical, magical and south-east London-al stretches to our good SELFS. She has us down on a page about fey-New Cross types called, rather kindly, "sex fairies". The kinky emails have failed to materialise so far, though.

Shops 56a Infoshop - South east London's premier anarcho-centre in Walworth, a wealth of alternative info and action. Baldwins – Suppliers of dried herbs, tinctures, fluid extracts, incense and books on the Walworth Road since 1844. Shop online, too. Halcyon Books in Greenwich is an ace local bookshop with a large occult and paranormal section. It’s well worth a look. Stepping Stones – A nice little witchy shop, with healing, tucked away in North Greenwich. Wicca Moon - occult shop and tarot readings in Eltham.

Other Stuff Area10 – Arty goings on round the back of Peckham Library. Chilsehurst Caves - With a history that starts before the Romans arrived, the caves must be London's largest sacred site. I'm not convinced about the druid bit, though. Cuming Museum – Local archeological and folk artifacts in a good little museum within the library on Walworth Road. Austin Osman Spare exhibited in this building, too. Dacre Morris - The local womens morris and traditional dance team. Girls get to drink beer, folk dance and be silly too. Exploding Cinema - They organise open access film nights at the Hatcham Social Club in New Cross. Some can be iffy, some can be bloody amazing.

The Horniman Museum – A fantastic collection of musical instruments and ritual objects in Forest Hill, many of which actually have comments from the folk who have used them. There’s goats in the garden, too.
