Cholbon is a Yakutian rock band from Namtsy founded by the Ilyin Brothers in the 1980's.
Their name means "the star that appears before dawn" in Yakutian (referring actually to the planet Venus).
The band sings in Yakutian and their music is considered mystic/shamanistic rock.
Russian rock scribe A. Troitsky claims they sound like a Siberian version of Pink Floyd.
However, I suggest you listen to their music (see below) and judge for yourself.
