Big Boss (Naked Snake)
Actual Name: Jack T Milles (Saladin)

Known Facts: Born in Hawaii, Following Pearl Harbour his Japanese parents where imprisoned by the US and he is forced into joining infantry 442 which is a Japanese-American unit fighting in France during World War II and was one of the liberators of Europe.
Returning home Big Boss finds he was experiencing racial prejudice and starts to question his own Patriotism. During the 50's Jack was trained by The Boss and together they created Close Quarters Combat (CQC) Before this Jacak took part in Nuclear testing. Under request from the US goverenment Jeck joins FOX (Force Operations X) special forces team. (This will eventually becomes the unique special forces team, "FOX-HOUND", which was formed at the end of the 20th century for solo infiltration and destruction. by Big Boss)
During the Snake Eater mission Snake looses his eye to a "Clumsy" mistake by Ocelot , Snake is forced to fight and kill his mentor under the orders of his superiors. Snake discovers the truth of The Boss's betrayal and the true reason for his missions.
In 1961 Big Boss takes part as a mercenary in the Congo Crisis and continued to fight for a further 7 years until the second Crisis in 1968. Also fighting in Vietnam, during this period was injured (eye) and became sterile.(Manipulated by The Patriots to hide the truth)
Renound for his espionage during the 60’s and 70’s Big Boss was quickly regarded as “the Greatest Soldier of the 21st century” and so was picked for the Les Enfant Terribles program by the US Military as they strongly valued his Excellent battle talents, he also wished to pass on his information to the next generation.
Big Boss founds Fox-Hound as leader of the new Special Forces team, which controls the best soldiers, from this position Big Boss controls his sibling’s fates and created his dream of Outer Heaven in Zanzibar Land using his many mercenary connections.
Big Boss is also the father of Metal Gear, which he and Dr Petrovich Madnar developed.
Sadly Big Boss is now dead but his DNA has been preserved by the military. (Single strand of hair!)
Sniper Wolf also knows big Boss as Saladin for saving them from Saddam Hussein (Saladin is a 12th Century leader who defeated the Crusaders)
Solid Snake
Actual Name: David

Known Facts: Born into an American family David joined the US Army under pressure from his parents, David quickly became an impressive soldier and eventually joined the Green Berets. Becoming squad leader, David leads his team into Iran on missions to infiltrate enemy bases.
With the creation of Fox Hound, David joined and was codenamed Solid Snake, for his excellent stealth and infiltration abilities.
Working for Fox Hound, Snake has refined his skills and become their best agent, although he retires from service after the death of Big Boss, he is forced out by the Shadow Moses incident, David joins a new foundation called Philanthropy, as he wishes to eradicate Metal Gear from the Earth.
After being given the Fox Die virus David has chosen to enjoy life more and has always fought for what he believes in, but later he rescues Naomi to get the antidote and as a form of promise to Grey Fox.
Liquid Snake
Actual Name: ?
Games Featured: MGS & MGS2
Known Facts: Born into a British Family, Liquid was brought up normally and eventually joined the British SAS, fighting in the Gulf War. Liquid was captured during the conflict, during his POW period he was regularly talked to by Big Boss who revealed himself to be his father and how he came into being. Big Boss asked Liquid to promise him that he would defeat his brother Solid Snake. After being rescued (Big Boss leaked place of capture) Liquid was asked to join Fox Hound as squad leader. (Solidus had some effect here)
With a vast knowledge of his past and the structure of the US Government Liquid knew that Solid Snake would be sent.
Sadly his plan to use and then kill Solid Snake backfired, with Rex destroyed, Liquid died from the effects of the Fox Die Virus.
However Liquid is reborn as part of Revolver Ocelots Subconscious, through his grafted arm and when ever Solid Snake is near Liquid is able to control Ocelots body and escape his suppression, his goal now is to eliminate the 12 Patriots.
Solidus Snake
Actual Name: George Sears
Games Featured: MGS2
Known Facts: Unlike his brothers George was raised in the Africa and was trained for many years under the tutelage of Big Boss, when Big Boss died he ran many small boy units (one featuring Jack) raising the small soldiers as he own his soldiers became feared.
After the end of the 20th century George immigrated to the US, where The Patriots choose him to be the new President, with Ocelots Help George used his position to try and control the Fate of Metal Gear. Using this power, The Patriots became fearful of him and George was forced out of office and into hiding after the Shadow Moses incident. Using his resources George produced the team called DeadCell, whose task it was to make evaluations on security under the most extreme of circumstances. In 2007 DeadCell was disbanded and George was forced into hiding.
With information from Ocelot, Solidus regroups his former team to take over Arsenal Gear and capture the current President Jim Houseman.
Unfortunately Solidus is betrayed by Ocelot and while fighting Raiden is killed. Solidus’s wish was to free the world of The Patriots powerful grip.
The Friends
Campbell
Actual Name: Colonel Roy Campbell
Games Featured: MG2SS - MGS3
Known Facts: Serving in the US Marine Corps, Green Berets and Delta Force. He was selected to become the Commander of the Fox Hound unit for his experience and strategic knowledge after the Outer Heaven Incident, Retiring after the Zanzibar Land incident; Roy is brought back in 2005 to help persuade the now retired Solid Snake to help them with this current situation. After the incident Roy returns to his family and retirement.
Roy is officially Meryl’s uncle but is in actual fact Meryl’s Biological Father! (Snake Tales)
Roy doesn’t appear again except as a manifestation created by the GW of Arsenal Gear and as a face of The Patriots.
He appears at the award ceramony where he discuses the idea of an agent like Big Boss in the army.
This reveals him to be a member of the Patriots!
Grey Fox
Actual Name: Frank Jaeger
Games Featured: MG - MGS
Known Facts: Born in Vietnam, Frank was raised by Big Boss as a war orphan. A devoted follower of Big Boss, trained to become a killing machine through vigorous training and took part in the Rhodesia Independence War, Frank was taken prisoner in Mozambique and was rescued by Big Boss. Moving to the USA Frank gained Citizenship and joined Fox Hound in 1990 under good word from Big Boss who gave him the most honoured codename of Fox, Intentionally becoming captured during the Outer Heaven incident to bring Solid Snake into the situation, Frank later leaves the Unit to become a mercenary in Big Bosses army. Given control of the reconstructed, Metal Gear, Frank is defeated by Solid Snake and left to die.
However the US had been developing a powerful exoskeleton and Frank was used in these experiments.
Now Known as Ninja as Frank was declared deceased, Frank was used to develop the Genome Project, before escaping with Naomi’s help.
In Shadow Moses Frank both helped Solid Snake under the name Deep Throat and hindered Solid Snake as the Ninja, before killing himself trying to disable Metal Gear Rex.
Otacon
Actual Name: Hal Emmerich

Known Facts: Hal is an American with a friendly nature, Hal is a huge fan of Japanese Animation, hence his nick name Otacon as he never misses an Otaku Convention. During his early years Hal becomes his stepmothers lover, but due to the stress of this his Biological father commits suicide, for which Emma has never forgotten nor forgiven. Never going to school Hal learnt through the Internet and matriculated in MIT, he earned a PhD at Princeton University whilst simultaneously developing a program to solve the Millennium Bug (This program was tampered by The Patriots)
This made him an infamous programmer but he earned no cash from the research. While at college Hal developed an RC drone he called Metal Gear MK2.
Same name as the one "Gilligan Seed" uses in Snatcher
Recruited by the FBI to their Engineering Research Facility. However his carrier was cut short when Hal was caught hacking into the FBI’s secret files.
Hired by ArmsTech where he further developed the walking and main body modules of Metal Gear Rex.
After being rescued from Shadow Moses, Otacon established a group called Philanthropy, whose goal was to expose and destroy all the Metal Gear’s of the world. The company was recognised by the UN and was funded by many sponsors (One of which was a Patriot!)
After the mission on the tanker, Otacon finds himself a wanted man and Hal and David are both forced into hiding.
Trying to regain his freedom Otacon takes part in the Plant mission to stop the new Marines Metal Gear called Arsenal, Otacon helped with transportation, hacking and communication.
We leave Otacon mourning the death of his sister Emma and finding out whom the 12 Patriots are.
It turns out Otacons father was a good friend of Glanin, who supplied him info on the prototype Metal Gear!
Emma
Actual Name: Emma Emmerich (E.E)

Known Facts: Hal Emmerich’s younger stepsister, when they where young they where very close to each other, until the incident…
Emma has followed in Hal’s footsteps as a programmer in the hope of surpassing her stepbrother and getting revenge. Having a vast knowledge of system structures, AI and hidden back programs, Emma was selected for the Arsenal Project to help create the GW system, but known to the patriots Emma also created a worm disk, which could disable GW, this was Emma’s backup in case of a betrayal.
Sadly during her escape with Raiden, Emma was stabbed and dies from the heavy blood loss.
Meryl
Actual Name: Meryl Silverburgh

Known Facts: Roy Campbell’s Niece, Meryl is the father of Matt Campbell, who dies soon after Meryl was born. (Snake Tales)
Born into a family of military tradition, Meryl has trained herself to become a soldier for as long as she can remember, although a highly skilled combatant Meryl’s only experience is from VR simulators. During her early military years Meryl was given gene therapy to improve her skill and given psychotherapy to repress her interest in men and any emotional reliance. Meryl is one of the few who can fire a Desert Eagle in one hand.
Brought into Shadow Moses after the beginning of the revolt, Meryl was quickly captured, her lack of experience showed when facing a barrage of guards with Solid Snake, as the game progresses, Meryl starts to have deep feelings for Snake which were revealed by Psycho Mantis. Captured again by Sniper Wolf, Meryl sustained major injuries to her arms and chest. Meryl fights through the pain and Ocelots torture sessions, reawakening in front of Solid Snake, they both escape together through the tunnels and ride into the Alaskan plains on a Snowmobile.
Swearing to look after each other, Meryl’s current status is unknown, but is likely to be with her uncle Roy Campbell at times when Solid Snake is working!
For thos who didn't know Meryl Silverburgh Features in POLICENAUTS! exactly the same as she looks in Metal Gear Solid, but with POLICENAUTS
Meryl is part of the Beyond Coast Police (BCP), a former member of the Special Forces unit Fox Hound. Her partner at work is "Dave" Forrest, who secretly loves her. She has same tattoo as in MGS.
She later ends up with Johathan to the end...

Nastasha
Actual Name: Nastasha Romanenko
Games Featured: MGS
Known Facts: Born in the Ukraine, Natasha lost both her parents in the aftermath of Chernobyl due to radiation poisoning and so Nastasha moved to the US at a very young age. Serving in the Defence Intelligence Agency and then she moved to the National Security Agency responsible for many of the issues relating to nuclear weapons. Nastasha is against weapons reduction programs, but her ultimate goal is the total removal of every nuclear weapon in this world.
Married to Richard Ames for 4 years Nastasha divorced him over personal matters.
Helping out with the Shadow Moses incident, Nastasha was the nuclear advisor and was setup in the same room as her former husband Ames.
Swearing to reveal to the world what happened, Nastasha produced a book called “The Darkness of Shadow Moses: The Unofficial Truth” which she produced using the codec files from the Shadow Moses mission, the book also details a lot of what happened in the aftermath.
Mei Ling
Actual Name: Mei Ling

Known Facts: A Chinese National, Mei Ling was raised in San Francisco’s Chinatown; she was an eminent pupil at school but suffered from an extreme inferiority complex due to poor vision. Participating in the ROTC program at Ministry of Information Technology, Mei Ling quickly recognised for her development of satellite codifying communication system. Mei Ling also developed an anti wiring coding, which allowed undetectable communication through burst transmissions and her sonar utilising radar. Recruited by the armed forces she has refined her work and now works with NOR in Fort Mead. Mei Ling is well known for her use of Chinese Proverbs and makes an appearance in MGS2:SoL when Otacon goes to far with his own!
She joins Philantropy under the request of Otacon, but after the revelations of MGS3 is she an agent for the Chinese Philosophers?
Naomi Hunter
Actual Name: ?

Known Facts: Born in Rhodesia, Naomi lost her parents at an early age to Frank Jaeger and was raised by him as his step sister, when Frank died Naomi moved to the US and assumed her current name of Naomi Hunter from a woman who had died while mountaineering in Rockies. With her interests of who her real parents where she went to school and eventually graduated with a Science Degree, first working for Tokyo Police Science Lab as a DNA tester, she soon became disenchanted by the lack of precision in DNA testing and lack of adequate facilities. She moved back to the US and joined the Advance Technology Genetic Corporation in California.
Here Naomi discovered a way to use genes as a vector without additional agents. Her achievements quickly became acknowledged and Naomi finally joins Fox Hound, using funds from the ATGC, Naomi’s discoveries were quickly used to create superior soldiers. Naomi was in charge of producing a virus called Fox Die, which caused heart attack effects in selected targets using DNA targeting. Unknown to many the virus was recalibrated to affect Solid Snake as a wild card, so Solid Snake would live his life wondering when he may die. During the Shadow Moses, Master Miller catches her out when Naomi discusses what her father was involved in. Naomi was imprisoned for living under an assured name and changing the Fox Die virus.
After the incident Naomi is freed by Solid Snake, who wished to know if there was a cure for this virus. Naomi’s current status is unknown.
Master Miller
Actual Name: McDonnell Benedict Miller
Games Featured: MGS
Known Facts: Born in Ohio He spends most of his early years outdoors with his father training their discipline of Samurai ancestry. He later joined the US Marines as a Green Beret and his respect for military code gained him great esteem and he was the first to serve with the SAS where he meets Liquid Snake.
McDonnell was hired by Fox Hound with responsibility of survival training; he soon gained great respect as many regarded him as Master Miller.
During the early years in the Green Berets Master was responsible for much of Solid Snakes training and helps Snake throughout his carrier with survival tips and personal experiences.
The Master was killed by Ocelot under the wishes of Liquid Snake
Raiden
Actual Name: ? Jack (The Ripper)

Known Facts: Born in Africa, Jack spends his early years in Solidus’s Small soldier unit, taken back to the US by The Patriots after the Civil War. Jack was given a new life, but part of his agreement was to join the US Army when he was old enough, once at this age Jack became a member of the recently established XXI tests, in which he worked through 100’s of VR missions, gaining great skill Jack still had no real battle experience. Recruited by Fox Hound (Now a phantom agency) to help with the Big Shell incident, The Patriots used the nano machines injected into Jack to suppress his childhood memories, to make him more cooperative and Jacks expectations to create Roy Campbell and Rose from using GW.
During the mission Raiden meets and works with his hero Solid Snake and remembers his horrific past, defeating Solidus on the roof of Federal Hall, Jack left with Rose to live out their life with their future child. Swearing to follow his own path and pass on what he believed he should.
In MGS3 we see Raidens Grand Father Ivan (Looks can jump a generation) Raidens parents were killed by Solidus.
The Boss / The Joy
Actual Name: Unknown
Games Featured: MGS3 Known Facts: She gives support via radio transmission during the Virtuous Rescue Mission. She is the mother of Ocelot, She was involved with the success of World War II. Involved with the British SAS, the American Green Beret and SEALS, she sits high on the list of each country's special-forces legendary soldiers lists. She is currently proposing the establishment of a new special force unit (Cobra's). She is Snake's mentor, and the only woman that Snake loves. She defects to Volgens side under the request of the patriots who wish to retrieve the Philosophers Legacy. She is the daughter of one of the last remaining Philosophers and she was exposed to nuclear rays twice in the 50's through Nuclear testing and space travel.
E.V.A / Tatyana
Actual Name: Cynthia
Games Featured: MGS3 Known Facts: Eva is a spy and Snake's supporting mole. Infiltrating the KGB, she acts as Sokolov's lover under the name Tatyana (nick name, Tanya). She is also romantically involved with Snake, but he doesn't know about her double identity (Being an informer to Russia aswell as the US). Eva is using Khrushchev in support of Snake. She is an ex-NSA code analyst, an American sexy blonde type super glamour chick. As Sokolov's helper (and lover), she infiltrates the GRU, where she also becomes the Major's lover, while working as a spy for China and their philosopher decendants as they were also after the Legacy. She falls for Snake while working together, she is a very wicked, fox-like woman, but likeable Eva also was a good friend to The Boss who she entrusted the true mission to be given to Snake later on.
Major Zero / Tom
Actual Name: David Oh
Games Featured: MGS3 Known Facts: In "FOX" he's known as Major Zero. He will be referred to as Major Tom in the Virtuous Rescue Mission as he belived it was good luck (Great Escape tunnel - but was wrong one), but his code name, Major Zero, will be used during the main story (Snake Eater). He offers intelligence support to Snake via radio transmission during missions. He belongs to the CIA bureau of classified planning, and is the commanding officer of "FOX". Aiming to create a task force of absolute secrecy to collect intelligence during the Cold War period, he organized "FOX".
DARPA Chief (Mr Sigint)
Actual Name: Donald Anderson
Games Featured: MGS & MGS3 Known Facts: He is a Will Smith type, a young African American male. He is crazy about computers. A supporting member of "FOX", he appears in the main story of MGS3. Mr.Sigint keeps tabs on Snake via radio transmission. He explains about historical or visionary weapons and gives advice on how to deal with certain enemies. As a member of the NSA, he is familiar with the most cutting edge electronic reconnaissance technology. Born in the US Donald was an analyst for the CIA for over ten years and was awarded the Intelligence Star Badge, for his efforts. Whilst there he acquired expertise in politics and strategy and after the Cold war was assigned the chief of DARPA a project defence agency. His company where the people who funded the Black Ops project for Metal Gear Rex, he was killed by Ocelot during a torture session to prevent his knowledge of Ocelots true intentions coming out.
Para-Medic
Actual Name: Jane Dow
Games Featured: MGS3 Known Facts: A Caucasian female who handles Snake's medical care via radio transmission. She is a "FOX" support member. A big fan of everything Japanese especially their films, she has alot to talk about, loving Cute stuff, BUT she dispises the fact of Snake eating wildlife.
The Foes
Revolver Ocelot
Actual Name: Adam Shalashaska (Adamska)
Games Featured: MGS - MGS3
Known Facts: As a teenager under Major Volgin, he commanded the elite Ocelot force. Son of a legendary hero The Sorrow and was raised to be an elite, he first encounters Snake in the Vituous Rescue Mission, where he was put to shame in front of his subordinate. He hopes hunting for a chance to someday to get even with Snake. Even after that, Snake always seemed to be one step ahead of him. In awe of always being outdone, Ocelot comes to respect and hold deep affection for Snake. A secret spy for the CIA he uses the GRU and Spetnaz to help The Boss find the Legacy and learns his torture skills from the Major.
Formally a member of Soviet Spetsnaz, Ocelot has a violent sadistic nature and is a master of using the Colt thanks to Big Boss's surgestion, which he can shoot through objects and off walls to always hit his targets. After the Soviet Union fell he joined the Russian Police Storming Party before joining the former KGB, before its reform.
Disliking the new KGB Ocelot left and was recruited by the patriots to be there new inside man in Fox Hound but he always kept in touch with Russia to help the patriots.
From his position Ocelot manipulates the sons of Big Boss to do The Patriots desires, usually via a middleman or the President (George and Johnson)
Loosing his arm in Shadow Moses, George organises the best French surgeons to attach the deceased arm of Liquid Snake, but this has caused Ocelot to have a split personality with Liquid fighting for control of Ocelots body.
Vulcan Raven
Actual Name: ?

Known Facts: Born in Alaska, Raven is a Shaman blessed with the strong physique and spiritual powers of the raven. Being a Shaman Raven is able to endure extreme cold and carry huge weights such as his favourite weapon a gatling gun normally found in fighter aircraft. Every year Raven took part in the Alaskan Olympics in which he was a strong contender in such events as the ear pulling contests. Searching for more out of life Raven crosses the Bering Strait to reach Russia where he meets Ocelot still in the Soviet Spetsnaz, after the fall of the Soviet Union Raven joins Big Boss’s Mercenary group in Outer Heaven.
After the death of Big Boss Raven is persuaded into Fox Hound by Ocelot.
Raven dies at the hands of his fellow ravens as he returned to mother earth but swore he would haunt Solid Snake for the rest of his days creepy!
Raven makes a cameo appearance in MGS2 as a small moving toy!
Psycho Mantis
Actual Name: ?

Known Facts: Born in Russia, Mantis first discovers his ESP powers when reads his fathers mind. Unwillingly Mantis finds that he despises him for the death of his mother during childbirth. This shock changed his perception of life; the overwhelming feeling of despair evoked a subconscious violent kinetic reaction causing him to kill his own father. The energy caused the entire population of 1000 to be killed also, in the inferno that followed Mantis suffered 3rd degree burns, which he still has the scars from. Disappearing after the incident Mantis appears again as a Psychic Secret Agent of the KGB who were impressed by his psychic abilities giving him special training. Mantis learns that in order to prevent self-destruction with his ESP powers he must maintain an alter ego. Following the fall of the Soviet Union he moved to the US and assumed a similar role in the FBI. Later becoming a freelance espionage agent before joining Fox Hound.
Mantis Dies after David finds away to block his powers, but while controlling Meryl, Mantis leaves some of his powers with her.
Sniper Wolf
Actual Name: ?

Known Facts: Born in a Kurdish village in Iraq, Wolf looses her patents at a very early age during the Iraq – Iran war, when they where killed nerve gases used by Saddam Hussein during the conflict. Escaping to a Kurdish refugee camp, Wolf was taken back to the US by Big Boss who was visiting the camp seeing some sort of potential. Viewing her savoir as a historic man called Saladin.
With the US now controlling the skies of Iraq, the Pentagon persuaded Wolf to go to India where she was trained in the art of Sniping by a Gurkha Sniper from Nepal. Wolf has the ability to be incredibly accurate and can constantly aim at her target for over a week at a time, this is mainly due to her addiction to diazepam, which stops muscle spasms. During the Shadow Moses incident Wolf looks after the wolves, which would have been shot and becomes infatuated by Solid Snake. Unfortunately suffering from a fatal gunshot David is forced to kill her.
Decoy Octopus
Actual Name: ?
Games Featured: MGS
Known Fact: Born in Mexico, Decoy started his carrier as an actor and SFX artist in Hollywood, for his ability to imitate anyone physically and well as vocally. He was scouted by the CIA to become a decoy for VIP’s, hence Decoy.
He leaves to join Fox Hound; tired of being a constant target for the VIP’s enemies, with Fox Hound Decoy perfects his disguising ability by removing parts of his cheeks, jaw and nasal cartilage. The Octopus part of his name comes from Decoy’s double jointed abilities and his mastery of biofeedback for which he can control his sense of touch.
Decoy’s greatest ability is that of using another blood which normally would result in instant death as white blood cells kill what they do not recognise. Decoy is killed by Fox Die while under the identity of Donald Anderson.
Olga
Actual Name: Olga Gurlukovich
Games Featured: MGS2
Known Facts: Born in Russia, Olga is born into a military family (similar to Meryl), Olga is highly experienced with weapons learning a knife throwing technique from a former Spetznaz agent, During the Tanker incident, unknown to her many of her comrades and herself where rescued by Solid Snake. Now the leader of her fathers unit, Olga gave birth to her child but found that The Patriots as a form of control had taken it away.
The Patriots forced Olga to help Raiden complete his mission of defeating Solidus under the cloak of a Ninja suit calling herself Mr X.
Meeting Snake later on Olga finds out the truth and helps both Raiden and Solid Snake get into Arsenal Gear. Freeing Raiden she hands over her ninja blade to Snake to give to Raiden. In the close of the game Olga reveals herself to be a traitor to protect Raiden and is quickly disposed of by Solidus.
Olga’s Child is still unknown as who the father was.
Fortune
Actual Name: Helena Dolph Jackson
Games Featured: MGS2
Known Facts: Born in the US Helena is the daughter of Scott Jackson, she was raised away from the military as Scott swore for her to never to be involved in war. As Helena grows up she realises she has the ability to move objects with her mind, after the death of Scott Jackson, Helena joins the Military when Ocelot tells her that Solid Snake was the killer of her father, using her ESP abilities with very little battle experience she is given an experimental weapon called the Rail gun, which was created from the data contained on the Metal Gear Rex Optical Testing disk, which Ocelot sold on the black market.
Given what she believes is part of the power pack to go with the Rail gun, which turns out to be a Metal Rapeller.
With this device Helena suffers from what I call Immortality Syndrome, where she is tired of living wanting to die but doesn’t know how to. Known Facts: Born in the US Fatman was the son of a clock maker and was always regarded as a loner, he had a huge fascination with the mechanics and sounds of a clock. Rumour has it that he constructed a nuclear bomb at the age of 10 after downloading schematics off the web. For this achievement he was highly regarded by bomb experts and was nicknamed Fatman after the bomb dropped on Nagasaki by the Americans. Joining the NYPD Fatman perfects his bombing skills under the tutelage of the great disposal expert Peter Stillman. Wanting to concentrate more on the creation of bombs Fatman leaves the NYPD and joins Deadcell, as their tests of national security goes a step to far Fatman creates a bomb, which was to be disposed by Peter, but was set off killing the people inside the church.
Shortly after this incident Deadcell was disbanded, desiring vengeance on Peter, Ocelot was able coax Fatman in to being a test for Raiden in exchange for being able to finally kill the legendary Peter Stillman.
Successfully achieving this, Fatman was forced to complete his end of the bargain and got Raiden to come to him through using another bomb. Sadly Raiden's skill was such that he was unable to dodge the accurate shots and suffers major internal bleeding, his last act of destroying the Big Shell was stopped after Raiden found the bomb hiding in Fatman’s jacket.
Vamp

Known Facts: Born in Romania Vamp was a part of a very religious family that went to church, during one visit there was a major bombing and the church collapsed around them. Vamp was staked through the heart with a cross; surviving for two days under the rubble Vamp was forced to drink the blood of his family. Vamp was the only survivor of the ordeal. Because of the incident Vamp became addicted to blood and started to acquire super human abilities to affect the laws of gravity around him and incredible movement. Leading George’s Deadcell Vamp became his best man and most trusted colleague.
Vamp is a specialist with knives and can fly the Harrier, Vamp gets his name from being Bisexual, being Scott Jackson’s lover, and Helena was conceived from this, Helena has a very strong bond to Vamp but its somewhere between Mother/Daughter and Lovers.
It is unknown how Vamp knew Solid Snake prior to the Big Shell incident and if he did actually die of the headshot from Raiden’s sniper rifle.

He is the strategic operations commander and an ex-boxing champion.
The Pain

He keeps the queen bee in his backpack, using her buzzing sound to guide the other bees. His body is also covered with bees. When they free, a beehive is left behind, formed in his hand. The beehive can then be thrown like a grenade, exploding into a swarm of bees. The Pain keeps a highly toxic, "bullet bee" inside his body. When he removes his skullcap, the bullet bee is released from his mouth. This bullet bee, much like a real bullet, is fired at high speeds.
The Fear

His arms and legs are considerably longer than a normal person's, and he climbs trees much the same way that a spider would (he can pop his limbs out of joint and bend them backwards). Using rope he can rapidly travel through the forest and between trees. He is indeed a spider man. He has a long, insect-like tongue (forked through surgery) and can grab things with it.

He is the founder of all modern day sniping techniques, from stalking and ambushing, to general know-how. With a lichen living parasitically in his body, he is a living miracle. Through the photosynthetic properties of the moss living in his body, he can survive without eating or drinking anything.
The Fury

Games Featured: MGS3 Known Facts: He is a surviving member of Cobra. He wears a black Soviet-made space suite, which serves as a replacement for actual fire prevention gear. He is very skilled with a flamethrower. Like The Boss, he has experience going into space as an astronaut, but suffered full body burns when traveling through the atmosphere. He can no longer feel pain (007 - Renard), and does not talk much at all. He lives to create angry, wicked fire. Removing his helmet reveals a burn-distorted face.

Known Facts: The co creator of the original Metal Gear, Petrovich was a forced by Big Boss into creating Metal Gear, he was responsible for the mechanics of the legs and the actual AI of the machine, the rest being directed by Big Boss. Petrovich was killed in the resulting fires as Outer Heaven fell to the ground.

Known Facts: The creator of Oilix a substance created from the by product of crude oil, which is highly desired especially in this time as fossil fuels are starting to depleted. Desiring this power for themselves the mercenaries of Zanzibar Land take him back to their fortress to try and get the formula out of him, Kio leaves the formula to find hidden in a games cartridge! Kio doesn’t survive the events as he is plunged to his death by Frank in Metal Gear ver2 during his escape.

Known Facts: Born in the US, the only known information is that he is the President of Arms Tech a company who specialises in military weapons and hardware, they took on the Metal Gear project as a result of loosing the bid for building the stealth F22 the replacement for the F16.
Kenneth dies from an induced heart attack caused by the effects of Fox Die.
Jim Houseman

Known Facts: The leader of his own Russian group, Sergei treats his men as part of a close large family and gives great care to his daughter Olga, After the end of the Cold War and Communism, Sergei swore that he would bring Mother Russia back to its former glory, Sergei supplies the Hind D, M1 Tank and some of his best men for the Shadow Moses incident and in the Tanker Incident Sergei hopes to acquire Ray to help recreate the now slack Russia back to its former glory.
Sergei is betrayed by Ocelot and killed by a shot to the heart.
Scott Dolph

Known Facts: Born in the US, Scott is a general in the US Marine Corp, he is a great believer in reducing the chances of a nuclear war and wishes to leave the world in a better state than he found it.Scott was seduced by Vamp and this is how Helena was born. It is not known when and if Helena knows that he is her mother. Scott was killed in the same way as Sergei.
Peter Stillman

Known Facts: Born in the US Peter has been with the NYPD bomb disposal squad for over 30 years training such people as Fatman, His good name is highly regarded, but after a bomb was set off in a church filled with people including children, Peter faked a leg injury to gain some pity and to cover his guilt for not stopping the bomber. Peter died in Shell 2 after he is unable to disable a special bomb, which reacted to his pace maker.

Possessing a tall, emaciated body, he appears to be nervous but diligent. He is the inventor of Shaghad. In fear of his own creation, he hopes to leave Russia. Climbing the Berlin wall to the west side, he finds protection, but in Cuba Missile Crisis related dealings, is brought back to Russia. In the main story he is killed by the Major, Volgen, after making contact with Snake.

Troubled with the development of incorporating nuclear powered energy into his two-legged walking machine, he consults his American friend (the father of Otacon). Since he is a ghost, he does not speak outside of the boss battle. He gives off a sense of intelligence and the feeling of a philosopher. His personality is dry and serious. He is unarmed and very weak when it comes to combat. He can use his spiritual mental power to communicate, and has the ability to summon the dead.

But at the beginning of the Great War the group was dispanded and most of the members have died! The document detailing the locations was found by Volgins father and he has used the wealth to become great and powerful.
