History

The Third known production of trading cards after Policenauts and Snatcher by Konami which were printed on card.

1998

Konami decided to do something rather unusual and rare by actually printing them on a plastic called acetate which is light, clear and easy to print on.
To make it rather special Konami made the series a limited Edition with every card coming with a 4 digit serial.
Unfortunatly the Acetate was still to heavy and the cost of transport ment that many boxes where either sold privertly or Disposed of :(

Today

The Metal Gear Solid Trading Cards are now quite rare, with auctions of these cards doing very well. Sealed Boxes or large card auctions always end very high and are highly competative.

The Box
Covered in a silver foil similiar to the JAP MGS Premium Package, the box is printed with a classic picture of Solid Snake raising his night vision googles.
Each Box Contains 24 Packs. Each Pack contains 4 various cards and 1 checklist card.
The Odds per pack are 2 Basic, 1 Holed and one other variation.
