For his first
Stereo Action album,Maestro René has employed
different instumental
combinations. A big band and two smaller
groups, each
performing on different selections in this great album.
This is the
first "Stereo Action" album recorded in Rca Victor's
newest and most
up-to-date recording studio. Studio "C " inNew
York City. No
studio in the world can fully handle the technical
needs of the
new sound-in-motion recording technique, a conscious
and deliberate
effort to set the music in motion by utilizing actual
movement of
instruments and sounds from one speaker to the other.
This is a pioneering
concept in Stereo listening!

Futura....What
will popular music sound like in 1970?
In this album
we are probing with both ears for full
Stereo Action
Perception.
Some of the
electronic techniques used in Futura are pretty far out.
The arrangements
are written with an eye to the future.
They literally
crie for performance in Stereo Action.
They have opened
an entirely new field of work in the popular music area.
Many of the
Orchestral devices and techniques used for color and texture
are Bernie
Green's own, and from a mind in constant creative ferment.
This wedding
of musical artistry and electronic creativity produces
Stereo Action
- literally, "the sound your eyes can follow"

Marty Gold has
been called a flying sorcerer of sonic surprises.
Now firmly in
orbit and not likely to come down to earth very soon.
Marty Gold has
taken some of the film capital's best and most popular
soundtrack themes
and has given them a compelling new sense of movement
and dimension
that never could have been attained by any of the various 3-D
wide screen
films that were shown on motion picture screens. To capture every
facet of the
stereo action potential, Marty has utilized three different instrumental
groups.Engineer
Bob Simpson seated the musicians in the studio for the best possible
spatial effect.
We think you will agree that Marty Gold ought to be nominated for the
coveted
Oscar in his own special category, he merits an honorable mention for his
latest
Stereo Action
Release.

The musical
core of the Three Suns , the familiar guitar, accordion
and organ has
been augmented here by an extraordinary assortment
of instruments,
including jaw bone, wind bells, chains, harpsichord,
tapping shoes,
ad infinitum all gliding and sliding in a whirlwind of
pattern
and a maelstrom of motion, sometimes subtly and variously
violent, but
always........Movin' 'n' Groovin'.
