ELIZA BLACKLER (WARREN)
Born: September 5, 1847 (Anglican Cathedral parish records, 1921
St.John's nominal census).
Pearl Benson informs me that Eliza "the second" had a store on the front
of her house, and used to sell ice-cream well into her old age!
At the time of the 1921 census, from which I obtained birth dates for
Eliza and her husband, their daughter Minnie Warren, a well-known citizen
of Southside, was still a spinster, and living with them.
Married: May 5, 1870 (St. Mary the Virgin church marriage
register). William Blackler is listed as a witness, but whether this was
her father or brother is uncertain.
