WILLIAM BLACKLER II
According to the Anglican Cathedral parish records, William Blackler Jr.
lived on the Southside, and was listed as a "planter" on the birth
certificate of his daughter Eliza. His occupation was not listed on his
son, William Harvey Blackler's baptism certificate.
According to Pearl Benson, William was Eliza Blackler's only sibling.
Perhaps this is why he named his daughter after her. His son, William
Harvey Blackler, obviously inherited his mother, Mary's maiden name.
William's birthdate is estimated from the marriage date of his presumed
parents. However, it would appear that his wife, the sister of Richard E.
Harvey, was a few years older than him.
