According to the 1921 census, Frank Brocklehurst was a messenger at the Colonial Secretary's Office. Birth dates of children from 1906 on are also taken from the 1921 census.

I have made the assumption that the Frank from the census record, who I know to be Judy's great-grandfather, was the same person as "Edward Francis, son of Charles J Brocklehurst", found in the Basilica baptism records. I make this assumption based on the understanding that given Charles J. had THREE sons named Edward, chances are that all (ecept perhaps the eldest) used their middle names.
