Baptized: July 12, 1812 (Torbryan Parish records). This agrees with estimations based on his obituary in the Royal Gazette, Sept.25, 1860. This information is also supported by Pearl Benson's account, and (presumably) the headstone at Forest Road cemetary.
Married: December 19, 1839 by Thomas F.H. Bridge, witnesses William Blackler and Jane Withycombe (Anglican Cathedral marriage records).
Died: September 24, 1860, aged 48 years, a native of Torbryan, Devonshire, England (Royal Gazette, Sept.25, 1860). Headstone at Forest Road Cemetary.
