A: Get yourself some popcorn.

B: Get yourself a microwave.

D: Following manufacturer's directions, set cook time, close door, and turn on microwave. Make sure to observe your popcorn while cooking, and when the pops have slowed to one pop every 2-3 seconds, it's done. Any longer, and it'll burn..

F: Pour popcorn into one regulation old fashioned metal bowl.

H: Clean the microwave!! (considering that microwave is older than my son, I'd say it cleaned up rather nicely) :-)

C: Place it inside the microwave (be sure to remove the outer wrapping first, and make sure the correct side is up).

E: Your popcorn should look like this. Your microwave should not.

G: Voila! .....now who wants some?

True Mother's Day story....so it's Mother's Day (2004), and I'm doing housework when my son (who is lounging in front of the television watching Hot Wheels World Race) comes to me and asks if he wants popcorn. Following my previously illustrated directions, he got his popcorn. And he did remind me to not forget to put it in the big metal bowl. See? The bowl is critical for the completion of the process!
