This mall decks itself out for each season, with various ornaments suspended from the ceiling on thin wires. This is a view of one of 4 elevators at the mall, centrally located in the main atrium area.

I think the baboons scare me more than the tigers! This one was kind enough to let me photograph both of its best sides :)

Seeing the sites at the zoo.

These two little meerkats were comic relief for the day.

"Psst, did you hear something?"

No wonder they're called the king of the jungle, or zoo in this case. Both photos are identical, except for size. If you look closely at the larger photograph, you can tell it's from a zoo, and not on the African savannah.

Wooded zoo trail.

I couldn't help but wonder what he found so fascinating as to stand there against the railing, watching so intently.

This beautiful tree was at the zoo. Again, it was a bland, overcast day, but that didn't diminish the brilliant colors.

A close-up of a red panda.

Three little (red panda) bears. Also from the zoo on Oct. 24, 2004. (smaller version of above photo)

Little Red Riding Hood?

Two of the female elephants at the zoo. I believe the littler one is the youngest elephant, only a few years old.

"Ooh yeah, right there...that's the spot!"
