STEEM - STE Emulating Engine

Another Windows based ST emulator with a very good GUI.

This one emulates an STE including the advanced shifter and STE joysticks.

• 64MB of RAM
• DirectX compatible video and sound hardware

very easy to use and to install integrated GUI import of WinSTon favourites plays many but not all games supports all versions of TOS except TOS v1.6x both windowed and fullscreen mode OSD (On Screen Display) memory snapshots overscan support working hard drive emulation good keyboard emulation emulates STE joysticks MIDI support configurable keyboard - assign different functions to different keys easy keyboard remapping very good Joystick configuration (think of buying a game pad!) supports STE features (try Zool in STE mode!) latest STEEM has support for special patch files custom settings for brightness and contrast

claims .ST and .MSA files by default gives .ST and .MSA files his own (bad) icon OSD slows emulation down soundchip support works, but sound quality is bad
