This year marks the new era for the Station. Many of the players of old have now left leaving a mere skeleton of what used to be. The additions of many new and exciting young players to the existing squad should drive the Station forward, Dempsey, Stead, Oates to name but a few amongst others .

It is not only the dressing room staff that have seen changes, the management team have also seen some changes over the past twelve months. From the days of Otley, Ward, Pearson there is but a trace. The new management as structured above have been drafted in this year and have taken the bull by the horns somewhat. This year the appointment of Hainsworth as manager seems to have corrected what was, a sorry situation.

Finishing bottom in 2003/04 The Station were very lucky to remain in Div 1. After a couple of games to gel the team now resembles that of a fighting force for the title. With only a handful of games gone promotion is not out of reach.

As a Station player for the past three seasons I have gone through quite a rollercoaster ride so far. This year though looks promising and silverware not out of the question. Not only will the Station be a tough team to beat but hopefully a force for the coming years.
