Congratulations to Gavin Rowe from the Youth Band who came 3rd at the Bugle Music Festival today!! Also congratulations to William Lucas from the junior band who performed for the first time at the festival. Both were very fine performances.

The St Austell Town Band are currently preparing for their trip to the Whit Marches on May 16th. This will be combined with a concert in Bury arranged by Dr Roy Newsome.

On returning from the Whit Marches the band are looking forward to working with Gareth Pritchard who will be taking the band to Bugle Contest.

The Youth Band have welcomed several new faces over the past few months. Gail Mitchell has joined on 2nd trombone. Matthew Jordan, Harry Collinge, Josh Dickinson, Liam Hathway and Adam Bennett have all progressed from the Junior Band. The Junior Band has welcomed some new faces over the past few weeks. We welcome Mae Hollibon, Kieran Moore, Zac Bridger, Rachel Bellamy, Carys Brush, Louis Hays and Jasmine Churms. Anyone interested in joining the Junior Band should contact David Mumford using the email link below.
