Dion: performs with the E Street Band

23 November 2002 was the day for Dion fans to go and visit the Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Bands Tour . That day they were performing at Miami arena. No doubt they put in their usual superlative set but when it got round to the encores, who did the Boss bring out of hiding - why none other than his old mate Dion Dimucci .

The two singers backed by the E-Street Band gave a 1st class performance of Springsteens song If I should Fall Behind .

All keen fans will recall the exceptional doo-wop version Dion opened his 1992 album Dream on Fire .

We know now this track bowled over the Boss because Dion also performed it on stage when the Boss did his solo tour in 1996 . (12 Feb 1966 - again Miami )

For those who weren’t lucky enuff to be at the 1996 concert finally got to hear the performance via the web . We live in hope that the new version will eventually makes its entrance
