INTRODUCTION

Welcome to my Gatwick Pages.

This site contains movements, and in time will also give information and hints for a successful day's spotting at London Gatwick Airport.

The movements are generally taken from my ACARS logs and personal sightings. Also logs posted to the gatwickaiport@yahoogroups.com are incorporated, but not those which are intended as forward information, i.e. due, as these can change. From the beginning of February this site will work in association with the group, and has taken on the new name, reflecting more it's nature.

Major UK airlines are not included unless there is something out of the ordinary, but the commuters such as Aurigny are. If anybody wishes to contribute with their own sightings, I will be pleased to hear from them. Anybody doing so will be credited in that months log.

Any information given is in no way official, and should be taken at face value. I will try to make sure it is as accurate as possible, but if you are looking for official information, please refer to the BAA website which will be listed in the links page.

Now a quick introduction to me. I am 41 years old and married with a baby daughter and live in Pound Hill, Crawley. I am a train driver based at Horsham, working for South Central and I can often be found at the crash gate at Lowfield Heath, normally with baby in tow. I don't normally hang around for too long, but if you see me please say hello. I do occasionally frequent the spectators area, mainly on a clear day where I can be found standing at the end of the building, freezing cold, dot spotting. I have been spotting since 1974, and I am interested in nearly everything that flies.

I hope you will find this site of use.

All the best, Steve.
