Comments:Ah ta fuck, I\'m hereby puttin an end once and for all to the band of messers LGBU, ta fuck. You\'re gone lads, and I hereby order u all to join the Bull approved LNGBU(Lets NOT get boozed up) headed by a man with the initials N.S(COME ON!), ta fuck. I know all the culprits and the first man I want gone is Dunner, the so-called Chairman....but wait ta fuck, maybe I\'m bein a little hasty here, after all he did slot the winner against Mearnog from all of 40 yards!, ta fuck. However, ta fuck, one man that I definately want gone is that Squintin O\'Hanlon. He\'s gone, and I\'ll make ta fuckin sure of that ta fuck. He should be more like his 10-second older brother Jobber ta fuck. Jobber is a great young lad and is responsibility personified. Squinter the eejit, the man that doubled his boozing when his no. of legs were halved(by doubled I mean he was on his ear after 4 pints and not 2, ta fuck). I hear he\'s known as the \'Cripled Cassanova\' these days ta fuck....well theres only 2 things that can take a lad off the straight and narrow ta fuck, and thats the lad downstairs and exercisin the elbow. Jobber wouldnt contemplate doin either of those things and Squinter you\'d want to follow in that great man\'s footsteps, ta fuck.

In summary:
Dunner - Not gone(because of his 35yard screamer)
Jobber - A great young lad. Bed early every Sunday and never touches a drop of the devils refreshment....Not gone
Squints - Ta fuck, way too much exercisin of the lad downstairs and the elbow....FUCKIN GONE!

Comments:I am just writing to let all members of the LGBU that the EGM on monday last, i.e 3/10/05, @ 34 Haydens something in Lucan went sparingly well. Some members did attend, although there were a few missing. Topics for the remainder of the year were discussed thouroghly e.g 1)Failure to get T.\"longtom\"Somers back into the PH 2)How to get the \"Melter\" spiked one evening in the PH 3)Get the \'We Want Charlie As Senior Manager\' campaign up & running and 4)How to get Jobbers toilet problems sorted. Unfortunely secetary \"Bomber\" failed to record the minutes of meeting as he did fall asleep due to Kronenberg. The \"Gun Dunne\" did manage a new hairdo to the excitment of the one female present. For details of next meeting contact \"Mullane\" at ivenohair@yeeehoo.pig , or just call to address given above with booze. LGBU

Anti-social behaviour damages Communities

The role of the Mentor

The Campaign to Stop Anti-social Behaviour emerged as a result of the activities by certain individuals living in Johns Park West, Clondalkin, who terrorised, annoyed and generally made life difficult for people who just wanted to live their lives in peace. This youth who sports the proud name of a GAA Club here in Clondalkin encouraged others from neighbouring areas to practice their football and hurling skills at residents cars, windows and other property as they threw verbal and provocative jestures at people who went in and out. Obviously, the parents who sport the same jerseys and who help, mentor or assist, sit quietly indoors watching all this happen but make no effort to stop the problem. Not until a leafletting campaign and the presence of a Garda car on the road, did they slip quietly away and wait for another day to carry out their deeds.

So why address mentors?

Well you see mentors have a responsiblity both on and off the pitch as role models to those they train and supervise. They have an obligation to provide those under their control the dicipline and respect necessary to avoid bringing the good name an reputation of their club into disrepute by conducting anti-social behaviour activities against others in their community. There is no point in attending training courses in basic fundamentals if you are not prepared to act responsibly by conducting your activities in a civilised manner both on and off the pitch. The youths who sport their club jerseys and the mentors who wear their trainers outfits have to be seen by the public as role models who are proud to wear their club outfits with an unblemished pride. Anti-social behaviour is a rising problem within our society and can only be eradicated if we as trainers collectively inform other members about the effect anti-social behaviour is having on both the young and old within our communities. I have always said that one day we will be old and feeble and will need the help and support of other in order to make the remaining days of our lives comfortable. The word from responsible mentors who do not take part in these actions against our communities must be\"This has to Stop\". We must inform and educate our young people that when they leave the field of play their reponsibilities to both club and community continues on.There are a far greater number of committed, qualified and concerned mentors within the GAA than there is bad. They are a credit to the GAA but we must be weary of those who wish to tarnish its name by their on the field impression of interest, while they encourage others to commit actions against their community.

The campaign to stop anti-social behaviour is a community based orginisation that wishes to promote a better understanding on the effects of anti-social behaviour and the damage it is doing to communities.

The CAASB is a non-political, non-violent organisation that has an interest in the betterment of our communities.

You can help by Emailing your support and comments to: antisocialbehaviour@eircom.net

New web site is currently under construction
You will be kept informed.

A two-hour training course for mentors on \'The role of the mentor in combatting anti-social behaviour\' will be conducted free of charge and on your premises by a qualified trainer.

You can register your interest in the course by emailing our address.

We thank you for your support

The anti-social behaviour on Saint Johns Park West started the campaign,let\'s hope the community will end it for good

Comments:a good training weekend was organised by LGBU in conjunction with the football team. The pint racing started briskly on friday in Ryans, with the honey monster(Mick \"d gun\" Dunne) leading the race.Entertainment was provided by \"the Bowsey\" Horgan.Wonders will never cease how \"Shine\" Glennon managed to save that fisherman beard from shaving, considering the pack a schuts for company. The palace was the venue for saturdays marathon, and nigh on 3000 pints were ruthlessly slaughtered, 800 of this total acredited to Jimmy\"wheres me underpants\" Gilbert. The only sour note of the weekend was the choice of drink of dave\"tough\"brady,the man with the face cut from mourne stone, who spent the night sipping on baileys\"on the rocks\",ahem,yes. and when asked where I was coming from I told him we just got 2 pints. The young gaurd on his first checkpoint , got all excited too and taught Clanna Gael was a pub in Ringsend.
He reached for his pencil and notebook. Things got worse when he leaned into the car I thought he was to kiss me but he was only trying to smell my breath.
That sorted him out and I was told 'to go on boy'. He was definately a Langer.
