SURREY AREA BOWLING ASSOCIATION AREA COUNTY TEAMS
20043 SURREY COUNTY SQUAD MEMBERS & THE QUALIFYING CRITERIA
To play for the Surrey County team you must have rolled off in the Surrey Area Roll-Off which will be held at AMF Purley on January 3rd and 4th January 2004.
There are many age groups and County Championships as they are called and there are many different ways that the Area Associations select their squads and teams to play these events. Surrey Area Association select their representative teams and squads the following ways:

UNDER 14 |
The top four eligible players in each division (boys and girls) from the qualifying roll off form the Under 14 Surrey County Championship team for that seasons event. The fifth qualifying player in each division will be invited to take their place as reserve, and should the need arise be used on the day.

UNDER 16 |
The top four eligible players in each division (boys and girls) from the qualifying roll off form the Under 16 Surrey County Championship team for that seasons event. The fifth qualifying player in each division will be invited to take their place as reserve, and should the need arise be used on the day.

JUNIOR (UNDER 18) |
The top seven eligible players in each division (boys and girls) from the qualifying roll off form the Junior Surrey County Championship team for that seasons event. No player is guaranteed a game at the Championship event which is held over two days. However. The top three players in each division from the qualifying Surrey Roll-Off are guaranteed two games in the Junior County Championships as stated in the Inter County rules and regulations.

YAC |
The top six eligible players in each division (Men and Ladies) from the qualifying roll off form the YAC Surrey County Championship team for that seasons event. No player is guaranteed two games at the Championship event which is held over two days. However. The top three players in each division from the qualifying Surrey Roll-Off are guaranteed two games in the YAC County Championships as stated in the Inter County rules and regulations.

INTER COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS (ICC) ADULTS |
The top 15 eligible players in each division (Men and Ladies) from the qualifying roll-off will be invited to accept their position in the ICC Surrey Area County Squad for their respective division.
The ICC is split into areas and has one qualifying round to decide the Counties who progress to and contest the finals. The County Manager will select from the squad of 15 qualifying players who will represent Surrey at the qualifying round or finals should Surrey progress to that stage.
Being a Surrey Area County Squad Member does not necessarily mean that you will be selected to represent the county at either event. However. The top three players in each division from the qualifying Surrey Roll-Off are guaranteed at least two games in the ICC qualifying round(s).

SENIORS |
