Jenny Twigg and her Daughter Tib are to be found high on the Yorkshire Moors above the village of Ramsgill, 8 miles NNW of Pateley Bridge. The rocks are situated on an area of moorland known as Sype Land, which is part of a privately owned estate.

They can be found on the OS Landranger Map No 99

(Northallerton, Ripon & surrounding area).

Whilst Jenny Twigg is situated on private land, the estate does allow access during the winter months when there are no young grouse about.

To get to the rocks the best route is to head NE from the village of Lofthouse, up a steep road until it levels out, and then take the first dirt track on the right where there is an 'Unsuitable for motors' road sign. Follow this rough dirt track until you reach a branch in the road. Take the left turning at the branch and carry on until you reach a gate across the track. From here Jenny Twigg can be seen on the right hand side to the south east. Pass through the gate and continue until you reach a brick built shooting house which is on the right hand side of the track and another gate in the wall next to the shooting house. From here it is possible to cross the moor without climbing over any walls. Follow the line of shooting butts until you reach the stones.
