APOCALYPSE CULTURES EP

Apocalypse Cultures

TRACKLIST

  • Repelling Forces
  • Crossing (North-South)
  • The Myth of Sisyphus
  • The Day Before the Revolution
  • Deathseekers

ABOUT

Recorded in summer 2006 at the Oscilloscope, Johnny and Shiori produced the latest Coybito effort, which was our first to be produced on a larger scale than one-off pressings. The songs are all part of the 'Crossing' song cycle/series.

The recording was surprisingly painless and features the band experimenting with samples, pianos and digital radioactive seagulls. Whetted your appetite? I thought so! Get hold of the EP by grabbing Shiori at gigs (when he's finished playing, to preference), or by dropping him an email here.

JOURNEYS THROUGH THE MORAL ZEITGEIST EP

TRACKLIST

  • Where Am I Going?
  • Paranoia Feedback
  • Lebensraum

ABOUT

Recorded in summer 2003 in deepest Wales, the newly-renamed Journeys Through The Moral Zeitgeist was produced by Christopher Tew and Shiori Coybito. The tracks were our three strongest songs (in our opinion) and are expected to return on the eagerly-anticipated Utopian Debris album at some stage.

As Coybito were "between" bassists at the time, Shiori does bass duty on 'Where Am I Going?' and 'Lebensraum', while Chris took over on 'Paranoia Feedback'. The EP is for sale at Midnight Records in Coventry Indoor Market. Alternatively, get hold of the EP by grabbing Shiori at gigs (when he's finished playing, to preference), or by dropping him an email here.

EVOLUTION OF THE PRETZEL

TRACKLIST

  • Where Am I Going?
  • Sarah
  • Invincible
  • Eugenics

ABOUT

Recorded and played by Shiori Coybito, mastered by our one-time drummer Sheets, 'Evolution' is a good EP, worthy of your time not just for the original incarnation of 'Where Am I Going?', but for all the electronics, balladeering and other experiments lurking therein. 'EOTP' also features Invincible, which was near-perfect on record but always seems to end us as a train-wreck at gigs. Ah well! Get hold of Shiori the same way if you want a copy.
