The only airline currently operating a
cargo flight into the Tees Valley at the
moment is TNT Airways with their
BAe 146-300 Freighter's.
The TNT is always housed in Hanger 2
during the day before it gets pushed out
on to Stand 9 for loading before its

BAe 146 Maintenance Base |
Durham Tees Valley is a maintenance base
for TNT's BAe 146 fleet! This means when
a BAe 146 is due for maintenance they
will send it up to Durham on the cargo
flight so it can receive maintenance
while it is sat on the ground during the
day.
If an aircraft does not come up on the
regular cargo flight, it will arrive on
a flight that uses an E on the end of
the flight number which stands for
engineering! |
