         Heathfield is 50 years old

 

Please note:  We are having to switch our hosting company.  Trident are closing their operation on the 15th February 2009.  At the moment we are looking for an alternative.

 

     

A reminder on our monthly club meetings:

 

“Loose Women” - members with an interest in “drama” meet once a month.

 

Games – meets on the first Tuesday of each month.  7.30pm in the small room of the Methodist Hall.  Fifty pence a session

 

Theatre

Various Tuesdays as announced.  Usually 7.30pm at Richmond Theatre

 

Luncheon Club – meets on the third Thursday of each month.  The selected venue is announced at the monthly Guild meeting

 

Cinema – Last Tuesday in each month.  The film and venue are announced at the monthly Guild meeting

 

Hobbies/Discussion – meets on the third Tuesday of each month at 2pm.  This club is held at members’ homes

 

Please note:  There may be a waiting list for some of the groups.  If that is so then a waiting list is prepared and you can add your name to the list.

Please note that there will not be a “Townswomen on Show” this year but “Around the World in One Day”

will be organized at All Saints Church, Hampton.  We are to represent Holland so put your thinking caps on please and volunteer for the sub-committee.

South Middlesex Federation is holding a St Trinian’s Lunch.  Now there’s the opportunity for some fun!

But no smoking or bad behavior

Visit to Jenny Stratford’s farm

Tickets are £25 a person and will include coffee and lunch

NB: You must be able bodied and able to get onto a tractor

 

25th – 29th June

Holiday and visit to the Annual General Meeting in Birmingham

Jean C will carry our banner but we need a Delegate as well

Price £270 to include two excursions

South Middlesex Federation day trip to the Isle of Wight

South Middlesex Federation are organizing a visit to Barnsgate Manor and Garden Centre

October 2nd for 5 days (4 nights)

The Annual TG holiday – this year to Troyes and Aube in Champagne staying at the

Mecure Hotel in Troyes on a half board basis.  Coach travel by Simply Groups.

Full excursion programme and free insurance, subject to medical screening, if booked before the 28th February

Cost is £339 if sharing a twin room or +£69 if opting for a single

Local pick up if sufficient people are interested.

The previous three holidays to Honfleur, The Ardennes, and Luxemburg have been very successful and

bookings for this trip, which will include Champagne sampling, should be high.
