Pendarves House

The mansion was demolished in the mid 1950's. Edward William Wynne Pendarves MP , once lived here.

Writing on the back reads: 'This is our school walking on mid-summer day. Chas in front of Mr. Prideaux with silk hat, just turning around.  This is taken below our chapel.  The houses down the road are all new since you left, and you can look right on to Green Lane Hill. Cemetery marked X'

Writing on back states that the two men walking alongside are John Prideaux and Capt. Langford.  The girl with a flag and bonnet is E.A. Berryman's girl.  Flo Keam in 6 row.
