Spectrum Brass is the newest brass band in the area. Formed in 1998 it has rapidly become hugely popular for all kinds of functions like fetes, garden parties, fun days, church services, parties, charity events and many other celebrations both formal and informal.

The band has two main objectives or purposes:

Primarily it is a teaching band; welcoming absolute beginners and learners at any stage of their education as well as experienced players who simply want to play for the enjoyment of making music and don't want the 'hassle' of practicing constantly for competitions.

Our other objective is to provide a community band, offering a service to the people of and its neighboring boroughs.

The band's friendly, relaxed atmosphere should appeal to all. So! If you are at all interested in learning to play (and it doesn't matter at all whether you are 8 or 80 years young), or if you already play and want to continue enjoying that pastime you can be assured of a very warm welcome at Spectrum Brass.
