Welcome

If like me you are wondering how you ended up here then let me start by first welcoming you and secondly by giving you a little bit of useless info about me myself and I.

My name is Stephen, I'm 34 years old and I'm about 6 foot 2 tall.

I live in a small ex-coal mining town in the North West of England called Haydock, although most people have never heard of it, it does have one claim to fame. It is the home of Haydock Park Racecourse, so all of you who like a flutter on the horses will no doubt have an idea where it is!

The nearest large town to Haydock is St. Helens which is home to both The Saints rugby team and Pilkingtons Glass.

I'm currently studying for a degree in business computing at University, but before this I spent most of my working life in retail or warehouses and I have to say it's the worst paid and most unappreciated job you can have! The last warehouse I worked in was terrible, I say warehouse it was more like a death camp, you get treated badly off customers and managers and then you have to put up with crap money to round it off. I eventually got up the courage to quit (much to the surprise of the bosses) and decided to go back to college to learn something I actually wanted to do. The way I see it is you only live once and you may as well do something you actually like, rather than what someone else wants you to do!

I really love what I'm doing at the moment, my only regret it that I didn't do it years ago!!

Why am I telling you all this? God only knows but I've got to write something!

Thanks for visiting my site,

Stephen.
