| The saga continues... Another day dawns...well not for me just yet, as soon as first light rose the eye mask and ear-plugs were donned! Rennie? who cares! as long as I got another few winks in he could lie there and twiddle his thumbs to the roaring traffic! The campsite was next to the main road and a noisy introduction back to civillisation(?) after our time out in the wilds. It was another sunny morning on this our last day of the trip (boo!). We had agreed to climb Ben Nevis at the end of the trek, if the weather was good. Well the weather was up to it but the trouble was that we weren't!. After eight days of partying along the west highland way we had burned ourselves out, and so we sadly gave the mountain a miss. We dragged our weary bodies out of the tent and cooked the last breakfast, washed up, packed up and headed into Fort William.
We decided to take a train back to Glasgow. Fort William is a busy place in the summer and we still had to visit the bank to get some cash for the train tickets.
