West Park LNR
Welcome to West
Park Local Nature Reserve
Situated on the
western boundary of Uckfield, East Sussex, the special value of
this small reserve lies in the diversity of habitats which are
found within its 11 hectares (27 acres).
These habitats include
an environmentally sensitive marsh which is home to a rich variety
of plants, including the rare southern marsh orchid. There are
also sandstone outcrops which support 58 species of moss and liverwort.
To find out more about
the reserve, and how you can help, click on the orchid.
