Bushido Entity is the new name for the work of musician/producer Charlie Spencer. Charlie has been writing for the last 8 years or so alongside playing bass in various bands. In 1999 he combined the two forming RBK with Tom Peters and Hamish Mackenzie. The band were popular locally until house moves forced a split. Since then Charlie has concentrated on writing more studio-orientated tunes, ‘music for the listener’. He has worked with Cambridge based vocalist Emma York on more down-tempo material. He also took to using his spoken word, and contributions from other musicians. In general his music took on a more ‘real instrument’ feel, and a more diverse style. Influences include Aphex Twin, M-ZIQ, Squarepusher, DJ Shadow, Photec, Eat Static and Tricky
