CAN WE HELP YOU?
- Free Pregnancy Testing ~ This is a confidential service with
appropriate information and support given
by our trained volunteers.

- Supported drop-in ~ For women who would like to get together
and make friends in a supportive atmosphere. One of our volunteers
will contact you and arrange to meet you either here at the centre
or nearby. She will stay with you, show you around and introduce
you to other people.
- Every Wednesday.

- Counselling ~ We are developing a counselling service
in which a number of appointments will be made available with
a qualified counsellor who practices in a woman centred way.

- Resource centre and library ~ Some books, videos and audio tapes are
available for loan and we have an extensive resource library
which is regularly updated. If you need help in finding the information
you require a WHISS volunteer will be able to help you.

- Women's Leisure Group ~ For women who find themselves alone in
their leisure time. We meet once a month to plan outings, theatre
visits and meals. New members welcome.

- Volunteering opportunities ~ For women at WHISS.

- Ready...Steady...Stop! ~ One to one support for women who would
like to give up smoking.
- Mondays 10.30 - 2.00 or by appointment.

- Courses
and Workshops ~ WHISS
offers a programme of courses and workshops to enable women to
learn more about health and to develop skills and strengths.

- Outreach work ~ WHISS is happy to provide talks and workshops
on WHISS and general women's health or a specific
subject to women's groups and help individuals or groups in the
city or county organise a Women's Health Day or course.

- Ethnic Health Project ~ This multi-agency group is involved
in looking at ways of improving health service delivery to members
of the ethnic minorities in Norfolk. We welcome new members especially
those from ethic minorities.

- Lone Parent Support Group ~ Meets every Monday 1pm ~ 3pm at the
Octagon Project, Colegate, Norwich. Children very welcome. For
