FAQ
- You claim the rom has time events clock fixed, but it doesn't work, why?
You have to follow these steps in order for it to have clock fixed (This
guide is for Visual Boy Advance users only)
- Download the roms. They are in .zip format
- DO NOT UNZIP them
- Open up your emulator (Visual Boy Advance 1.5)
- On the top menu bar, go to Option -> Emulator -> Real Time Clock (check
Real Time Clock to enable it)
- Open the PokemonRuby.zip or Pokemon Sapphire.zip you just downloaded
- Start the game, the clock problem message should be gone and the time
event will be activated
- I save the file, but when I load the file, it said the file is corrupt and
all of my progresses are gone! What happens?
There are some solutions to this problem
- If you are using Visual Boy Advance 1.5 as your emulator, then this
problem shouldn't happen, we test it over and over again. If you have another
emulator, we recommend you get a Visual Boy Advance 1.5 emulator.
- Use other way to save your progress. Most of emulators allow you to press
a certain key on the keyboard to save the files (.sav, .sgm), and press
another key to load them. We strongly you use this method to save your game
instead of using the "Save" option in Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire's player menu. In
Visual Boy Advance 1.5, the default save key combination is Shift + F1, and
you press F1 to load. In TGB-Duel, the default key is F5 and you press F6 to
load
