This photo of Cwmgwili village shows 55W GEC Nightwatch Z9536 SOX lanterns on metal columns. These were probably installed in the 1970s - a newer version is made today by WRTL (see the one in my collection).

SOX lighting on the A48 at the Cwmgwili junction. These columns were installed in the 1980s, and the same columns and GEC Z9564 lanterns are used throughout lit sections of the Pont Abraham to St Clears section of the A48. This is a double lantern column.
