A line of day-burning top entry mercury
lanterns on swan neck metal columns are installed in Haverfordwest.
All the lanterns are day-burning, so I assume they are all connected
to one time-switch.
All of the lanterns surprisingly seem to have intact bowls. They
are identical to the mercury vapour lantern in Newcastle
Emlyn.

This photo shows another column -
this time the lamp isn't burning as brightly. Here you can see
the more of the column. I took lots of photos of these lanterns,
but unfortunately only these two came out.

SON lighting has virtually taken over in Haverfordwest,
on most of the major roads and some minor roads. This photo shows
a new Thorn Riga Plus road installation. Thanks to Davy Warren
for identification!

These old Phosware P107 post-top lanterns on concrete
columns were spotted along Road, Haverfordwest. The bowls have
gone yellow with age, and they are installed on concrete columns,
so I'm sure SON replacement won't be too long ahead!
